There has been some confusion about points of contact for members of the public, which has led patients to call the flu appointments line (0141 201 4180) for clarification about whether they are eligible for a vaccine rather than to purely amend their appointment. Please note staff manning the appointments line are not equipped with the medical expertise to make a decision about an individual’s eligibility for the vaccination. Patients should only contact the appointments line for appointment related queries.
If you have a dental concern please contact your dentist.
For eye problems please contact your optician.
For coughs, colds, sore throats, indigestion, diarrhoea or constipation please contact your local pharmacy.
Due to new guidelines, your GP is no longer the first port of call for urine infections. If you are female and aged 16-65 years and think you may have a urine infection you should now contact your nearest pharmacy where they will assess you and provide necessary treatment.
